A different kind of newborn.... baby birds! These little guys are just 5 days old and are beginning to open their eyes. There are 4 of them in a little nest in one of our hanging planters on our porch. I have no idea what kind of birds they are; the eggs were light blue with spots and Mama is small with a slightly red belly. They are so ugly they're cute!
