Pin It to Win It! |Jenn Hoffmann Photography| Child Photographer| Danville, Ca

I would love to shoot more "stylized/themed" sessions in 2012!  Whether it be themed mini sessions or an "out of the box family" session- I am up for it all!  I have a few ideas swirling around in my head but want you to get in on the action too!

So I am going to have a giveaway (because I LOVE them!) ;)

Begin thinking about what type of "themed" session you would like to be involved in and build a Pinterest board around that idea!  Pin prop ideas, locations, poses, colors, your family members.... anything that you would like to incorporate in to the session!  At the end of the giveaway, I will choose one board that is the most unique and creative- and the winner will receive a FREE stylized family/child session using many of the ideas AND the high resolution gallery cd (VALUED AT OVER $650)!

Here's how to enter:
-Become a member at Pinterest (if you need an invite, email me and I will send you one).
-"Like" my Facebook page
-Create a board dedicated to your theme on Pinterest.
-You MUST pin the above image ("Pin It to Win It") to be eligible to win.
-Spend some time on my blog and pin some images that you like (posing, lighting, location, wardrobe, etc.).  Again, you must do so to be eligible to win.
-Pin prop ideas, colors, locations, clothing/costumes... anything that makes you think of the theme and that could be incorporated in to the images!
-Please note: Other professional photographer's images MAY NOT be pinned to this board.
-Come back here and post a link to your board before 3/15/2012 in the comments
-Winner will be chosen based on creativity, originality and the incorporation of my images!  Winner will be announced on 3/19/2012

Please note:
- This applies only to a WEEKDAY single child session OR a family/group session (5 or less people).
- Session is to take place within 20 miles of Danville, Ca by 8/15/2012

  1. I think I will give this a try! We are in San Ramon. And I would love an "out of the box" family photo session with my husband and 4 year old daughter. Question: Can we use other inspiring images outside of your site, or should they all be from your site (I know it can't be another photographers)? If I win, I would love to post the shoot on my blog: www.familysponge.com. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  4. Hi!

    What fun this was!

Theme idea: A Light-hearted Old Fashion Family Picnic ...one that takes us back to the early nineteen hundreds where the simple pleasure of lazily wasting away an afternoon under the willow tree with ones family was the choice form of entertainment. This one takes a bit more imagination since I couldn't find exact examples of it, but that is what makes it unique I guess! :)

Inspired by Little League Opening Day! I love little boys in their brand new, fresh uniforms excited for another baseball season. I would love an outdoor, natural light photo session at a baseball field (dugout shots, sitting on the benches, fences in the background, and of course, action shots on the field!). I love the patriotic red, white & blue baseball outfits and of course, SF Giants gear. Tyler is on the Giants this year too! Props would include baseball mitts, baseballs, and bats! Sid is Tyler's coach again this season, so we definitely want great Coach/player shots!

    So excited about this!

  7. I have loads of fun with this. I am not really a water person but my son is. So I thought a beach theme at the start of dusk would be a great shot. I love the shots that are not about the family but about our shadows or that are out of focus.
