Let the Voting Begin!

Although I think that all of these children are adorable, there can only be one winner for the

"Cutest Kid Contest"!!!  In order to vote, you must first sign up to be my Facebook Fan here.  Then scroll down below and find your favorite picture!

To cast your vote for your ONE favorite photo, you must write the word "Vote" as well as your Facebook Fan name in the comment section (i.e. Vote, Sarah Smith).  Comments such as "cute" or "my favorite" will not be counted, as well as any votes that are not from fans.

Voting will end at midnight on April 5th.  The winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 6th.

A Real "On-Location" Sneak Peek!

I had the pleasure of traveling down to San Diego for my latest photo shoot! One of my best friends had a baby girl in December and this was the first chance I had to photograph her!  Ella even had the chance to join her for a few pictures!  I love you "Baby C"- thanks for a great few days!

Derek is not usually a wiling participant when it comes to me taking photos of him.  But for whatever reason, he let me take these of him while we were in the front yard the other day.  How can you not love that face!?!? ;)

Yesterday it was pouring rain, but today the sun was shining!  We certainly lucked out with the weather and the "D" family enjoyed exploring the gardens in San Ramon.  Check out the haircut on the little man- he totally rocked it!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Cutest Kid Contest!

In order to launch my new Facebook Fan page, I am hosting a fun contest!  Here's the deal:
1. YOU be the photographer!  Have a little "session" with your little one(s) (or you may use a favorite photo that you have already taken).
2. Sign up to be my Facebook Fan here
3. Then send your ONE favorite picture to me at info@jennhoffmannphotography.com .  I will post the contest entries on Tuesday, March 23rd    (Limit to 1 photo per family)
4. Send people (your family, friends, co-workers, etc) to join my Facebook Fan page and then have them come here to cast their vote for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!)
5. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 6th based on the total number of votes for each entered image.  Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry.  A person must be a fan on my Facebook Fan page; votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!

RULES:
- Entires must be submitted by Sunday, March 21st.  I will post all entries on Tuesday, March 23rd and the voting will begin immediately!
- ONE entry per family (more than one child may be in the photo).
- ONLY separate comments to a picture that state "vote", along with your facebook fan name will be counted as a vote! (Comments such as "cute picture" will not be accepted as a vote.)
- ONE vote per person!
- Voting will continue from March 23rd to April 5th .  Winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 6th!
- Submitted images must be of a child or children under the age of 18.  By submitting your photo, you are giving me permisson to post the photo on the web for voting purposes.
- For obvious reasons ;), photos taken by a professional photographer will not be accepted.

THE PRIZE!
The winner will receive a complimentary custom portrait session with me and a $50 print credit!  That is a $200 value!

The session must take place in the East Bay, and be redeemed by July 16th, 2010
A signed model release will also be required at the session.

Mustard Flowers

Lately Derek has been fascinated with the mustard flowers on the side of the freeway and wants touch them.  Me, being the great mother that I am ;), will not let him play by the side of the road. So I found a field of flowers by our house and let him explore today.
